LA’s Soapbox

Where has the time gone? It’s been over 2 months since I posted anything here. Everyone has probably given up checking to see if there’s been anything new. I’ve been so busy and it won’t be letting up any time soon it seems. Mom will be undergoing another eye operation this coming Monday, March 5th. Vid card on my 2K box died while I was out of town last weekend (more about that in my next post). Daughter is frantically looking for an apartment in Montreal so that she can attend English university in the Fall, but wants to find a good job there as soon as possible. Which means that I’ll be driving up to Montreal in the near future to help her move. Then there’s the car. I desperately need to go car shopping.

Seems like I have been car shopping (or wanting/planning to go) forever… lol. First time I went was in October, 2005… yes, 2005..and again in February, 2006… but once again all sorts of life issues (way too many to enumerate here) have interferred and I still don’t have a new car! I swore I would have it done by March. Thank goodness March has 31 days, maybe I’ll actually get it done this month

Then Spring will be here and I’ll have the outside housework and yardwork to do and yet another 3 or 4 months will have flown by! At least I had an awesome 4 days away from everything…..
